A Short Moment That Will Last a Lifetime

Katrina is a nerd. No one likes her. She's incredibly smart and gorgeous. She is so pretty, all of the other girls hate her. One day, a popular boy named Gabe came up to her.

"Hey Katrina, what's up?"

"Oh nothing. Hey, for your sake, you might want to leave. If people see you talking to me, you will have a bad rep."

"Katrina, I don't care what other people think. If I want to talk to you, I can."

"Oh ok."

"Do you wanna go to the mall with me this weekend?" says Gabe as his face gets red.

"Sure! I would love--I mean, I guess, I think I am free."

"Ok, see ya."

"Bye."

After this interaction, Katrina saw everything in a different perspective.
