Fine and Dandy
The horse that I am leasing is Fine and Dandy. Dandy for short. Whenever one leases a horse, it means they are essentially "borrowing" a horse for a period of time. The owner of dandy still wanted to ride him, so we decided on a lease. Dandy is a well-rounded horse. He does all different styles of riding: hunter, jumper, cross country, equitation, dressage, and western. I usually just stick to equitation and maybe jumpers. He loves treats and fruits, and is a super sweet and calm boy.
Whenever I ride him, he can be very lazy, but once I get him going, he is amazing. He genuinely loves his job and has a great attitude about it. I recently showed him, and we did good for our first show together! I am so glad I have the opportunity to work with this amazing animal, and I can't wait for many more happy memories with him!!

This is so interesting! I like how you focus on describing the horse even pointing out weaker qualities of him.
ReplyDeleteI like this post because the language you use makes the readers understand how much you like riding. I also like how you described Dandy. Great post!
